She is like flowing water,
Whose place none can falter.

Put her in a vessel and she takes its shape,
Her poise and her strength are worth a gape.

Some flow more and some more consistent,
Just wonder and see nothing can waiver her persistence.

Her existence changes the worlds color,
She is full of life and adds to its vigor.

Living her life for the relations she is born and bond with,
Wishing her things to do list, had her name on it.

Always worried to keep everybody around happy,
Giving up her existence to make your life less shabby.

Hiding all the pain she goes through,
Taking everything in her stride to make her grow tough.

Mumtaz, was just one of them to deserve a Taj Mahal as a tomb,
Of patience, love and compassion she is a perfect epitome.

She is the one, who makes you feel more human,
She is the one in your life, She is the Woman.

A thief...!!

I am a thief worth a reward,

Or probably I am just a little coward.

I steal moments from my life to be myself,

Peeping, to see whats left for me on destiny's shelf.

I steal moments from my life to feel my pain,

Praying, in all difficult moments just keep me sane.

I steal moments from my life to shed the dried tears,

Amazing, that they are coupled with so many fears.

I steal moments from my life to forgive and forget,

Really, now on my mind happiness is the only target.

A part of me...

A few days back, a part of me I lost,
And of all others it costed me a lot.

Everybody said why sad, when it happens to a thousand,
I still just question why to me it happened.

Even now in dreams I see myself as a new mommy,
And just get up to realise that the lost one is not coming.

With the whole world and God I was then upset,
Soon I realized to make me strong its one of his gadget.

Its kind of you God, that my dream broke so soon,
Going through the situations now, I realise its a boon.

I think I understand the tricks you play with my life more or less,
But in this journey of life, I just ask you to give me strenght and bless.
